About Me
Hi, my name is Jamie Turnbull and I am a trainee driving instructor licensed by the DVSA to give lessons, sponsored by Jon Owen Driving Tuition.
What does all that mean? To become a driving instructor, there are 3 tests which are regulated by the DVSA. There are the ADI Part 1,2 and 3. To become a driving instructor, you need to pass part 1 and 2 test, then complete a set number of hours of training with a dedicated ADI trainer (Jon Owen for myself), then you have two options, complete the Part 3 test, or become a Trainee Driving instructor (otherwise known as a PDI potential driving instructor). I have decided to do the trainee side to gain more experience before taking the Part 3 test. By doing this, learners can have a reduced rate whilst still having a professional experience.
