All sessions are to be booked through the Total Drive App. If you have a pre-agreed day and time of the week, Jamie will book these in for you directly through the app. Please make Jamie aware if you are not available for any sessions in the future so the space can be allocated as a gap to another student on a one off basis. “Gaps” will appear in the Total Drive app for students who do not have a regular session space, these are booked on a first come basis, it is your responsibility to book these sessions if you are wanting lessons still. If you cannot find any suitable sessions please make Jamie aware and he will try to allocate you a gap.
If you are able to log into the Total Drive App, please inform Jamie and he will reset your Login Details and send them across to you.
Parents are also able to have access to the app through their own login details. Please make Jamie aware if you are requesting this so he can add you to the app.
Lessons are to be paid for 72hrs prior to session to secure the slot. If session is not paid for, slot may be released as a “gap” to other learners.
Payments can be made via Total Drive however the app does charge a fee which is kept by the app provider and not Jamie, and therefore it is recommended to pay Jamie directly to his account using the Learn With Jamie Business account details which he will send to you directly at the initial enquiry where the first lesson is booked. If you need account details again due to change of account, please inform Jamie.
Cancellations should be made 48hrs before the start time of the lesson directly to Jamie as a message. The session will then be released to other learners as a “gap”.
If less than 48hrs notice is received, the session will be charged at 50% as a short notice cancellation fee. If session is cancelled within 1 hr of session start time then a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
If a session is cancelled by Jamie, the lesson fee will be transferred towards the next sessions payment, providing that it is within the next two weeks. If not, the fee will be returned to the students account, once student requests this.
Lessons paid for via Total Drive has the same cancellation policy as above, however, will only be refunded by the rate at which Jamie receives, student will be liable for the fee which Total Drive receives.
No Shows (where student does not turn up to session) are charged at 100% of lesson rate.
All test bookings have to be pre-arranged with Jamie, but booked by the student themselves through the GOV.UK website. Due to the waitlist for tests, it is recommended to book the test for an available date at least 3 months in the future, then use a cancellation app such as “Testi” to move the test to a more suitable location and time. Please do not book tests with less than 14 days notice, as Jamie may have other tests booked.
If a student books a test, please make Jamie aware as soon as possible so that he can add to his calendar and determine whether the student is ready for test or not. If the student is NOT ready for test, Jamie will recommend to swap the test date to a more suitable date in the future. If student does not wish to do this, then Jamie and his learner vehicle will not be available for the test. He will not let a student go to test with himself if they are not yet safe enough to.

Test centres which are further away may be charged at an additional rate due to additional travel time.
